Is This What You Call Parenting !?
Its been along time since my last post and there is no excuse I was so busy at work lately and took a vacation not to mention my laziness but something happened that triggered my train of thoughts and pushed me to start writing again.
Yesterday I casually passed by a fast food restaurant, McDonalds to be exact and while I was there I noticed this cute little girl that her smile captured my heart coming in the restaurant with her 2 brothers & sister followed by the maid (of course no Kuwaiti child nowadays doesnt have a couple of maids following him) and their father. The oldest kid among them maybe 7 years old (Im only assuming that they are siblings and they are with their father) the father (as i assumed) ordered some junk food for the kids and while I was waiting for my order to finish suddenly I watched the father took off in his car leaving those kids alone with the maid. I thought to myself maybe he had to buy some stuff quickly from the Co-op or the pharmacy and he will come back for his kids, but the kids were sitting on a table eating with the maid so maybe he (The father) did not order for himself. Any way I took my order and went on my way to hang out with the guys in Gahwa which is by the way 15 minute drive without traffic and guess who I see sitting in the table next to my friends ?????
Yup its the Father of those 4 Kids, to my shock I couldnt resist starring at him even had a crazy thought that the guy sitting in that table is his twin but my logic kicked in and remembered his clothes so I became so sure that he is who I just saw 15 minutes ago.
I kept on wondering what the hell is this guys doing ? could there be a logical explanation to what I just saw or maybe someone was gonna pick those kids up !!!!
Although Im single and have no experience in parenting but Ive always felt that feeding your kids junk food is like feeding them small doses of poison and at the end we wounder why the hell we have a high rate of child’s obesity in Kuwait, smart community I know.
Anyway back to my story, I spent almost 3 hours with my friends and that guy was still sitting, one of my friends wanted to go get dinner from McDonalds. It was like a hidden invite for me to join him to answer that burning question I had going on my mind. We went to the same McDonalds, deep inside I was wishing those kids were gone by now and I overreacted upon something I dont understand but as we all know not all wishes come true. I saw the same 4 kids sitting around the same table & youngest girl who her smile captured my heart were resting her head on the table almost sleeping with their maid bored to hell not to mention the amount of junk food that went into their system.
What the hell is happening to the world…..correction to Kuwait ?
Am I overacting cause i dont know anything about the stress parents suffer from everyday ?
Does that stress give the parents the right to ditch their kids and go have fun alone ?
Some times I think that some people dont deserve to have kids since they lack the responsibility to care and provide for them.
Im throwing my story out there for all of you to share your thoughts on that matter, please correct me if Im wrong does that seem normal to you or acceptable throwing your kids at a place with the maid and you go hang out with friends ??????

Our fears & fantasies have changed over the years. When thinking of zombie apocalypses, I too often think of what the world would look like. Is it worth surviving if you are in a constant state of fear like many of the Zombie movies and TV shows present characters in these situations? How would you remain hopeful in a situation that seems so hopeless? It seems the scariest thing to me about zombies is not that you have a chance of your brain being ripped out and torn to shreds by chomping teeth, but rather knowing a person you may have known is now that flesh eating zombie who has nothing human about them left. For me, the scariest thing about a zombie outbreak would be seeing the people I know and love turn into something without any humanity, something without life.
So be fully prepared to defend your own Humanity
Save #Kuwait On Instagram
Yesterday out of boredom I searched #kuwait on Instagram and I hope I never did. All the pics were mostly out of Google, Cheap Ads, Food or texagram ( a stupid app for sharing Notes on Instagram ). Instagram gained a huge number of Kuwaitis since it launched and I won’t be exaggerating if I assume that more people are using it than Twitter nowadays. Twitter became a feed for sharing Instagram pics, with the huge amount of instagrams out there I thought that by searching #kuwait I would have been indulged by some awesome local pics but to my disappointment now I know anyone abroad searching for some images that represent Kuwait he will have a hard time finding a decent one.
Everywhere in Kuwait there is someone either posing for an Instagram pic or holding his mobile in a weird position trying hard to get the perfect short, not to mention all of those teens walking around in malls holding their DSLRs. All of the pervious observation and I would expect finding some decent pics when searching about Kuwait.
Of course I know no one would care about saving our country’s hash tag on Instagram by posting good pics, am I the only one who noticed this !!!
Would you even care about saving #kuwait???

Mario, of Super Mario Bros. was just a plumber , he ended up a hero. But fame don’t last more than a game time!
Look around you, we are surrounded by famous people here & there on different disciplines & majors. We “Kuwait” daily produce more celebrities than the oil barrels “a little Exaggeration”. Some do deserve the fame n some don’t, it’s a comparative judgment at the end of the day (for example: To me, Kim Kardashian do deserve it while Paris Hilton don’t) but this is just me & my opinion…. i know i know my example is not that relative to “our” so said celebrities but,,, it’s my post oo KAIFI! & i will illustrate more on the next post (Stay Tuned it would be Super troll post!)

Iwish Reality Show Failure
Iwish simply the most annoying reality show you might ever come across in the arab world. I didnt get a chance to actually write about it cause each time i try to watch an episode it drives me mad, how shallow, untalented the participants are not to mention some of the judges.
We live in a community were the more you act like an expert even if you words doesnt make any sense the more follower you gain and if you throw an english sentence now and then in your conversation you are a sophisticated intelligent person even if you dont have the right accent. Im not denying that we have some talents here is kuwait but they are all over whelmed by the actors and shallow idiots around them.
Let me start by talking about 52 degrees a business that claims supporting youth and young talents while infact they are just feeding on their blood. Have you ever passed by 52 degrees?
I believe most of us have done that and ended up regretting it, just walking around their show room 90% of the products are way over rated, stolen designs or even freaken ugly and not even worth looking at not to mention the catastrophic price tags on them.
So here is how I think the idea of Iwish came to life, years have passes and 52 Degrees suffered from the lack of things to offer and they came up with the iwish idea, a reality show to promote them and remind people of 52 Degrees but it actually back fired at them and ended up highlighting everything that is wrong in our community and how some businesses support the untalented shallow actors who claim they wanna build their career. I dont wanna make this post long so I’ll end it here and make room for your comment to express what i have might not mentioned.

Actually, i didn’t want to talk about this for a start but noticing the raising number of “soft” or “delicate” men (or boys) around us made it hard for my nerves to not point this out. Reader, Have a quick tour on instagram, twitter, keek or even the malls and streets & you should understand what i’am talking about. I am not talking about those who are officially gay one’s, i am just referring to those boys who act like :
- My extremely wide V-neck T-shirt is classy & unique “un-hairy chest showing”!!! WTF
- I speak french! DaCooh
- Yesterday I almost had a heart attack, my favourite orange! color pants was not ironed “Where could you find an orange pants for a start??!! LA SENZA??” ROFL
- I don’t do sport coz i don’t like sweaty me!
- Men makeup “enough said”

Am I the only one seeing & hearing this round?
