Iwish simply the most annoying reality show you might ever come across in the arab world. I didnt get a chance to actually write about it cause each time i try to watch an episode it drives me mad, how shallow, untalented the participants are not to mention some of the judges.
We live in a community were the more you act like an expert even if you words doesnt make any sense the more follower you gain and if you throw an english sentence now and then in your conversation you are a sophisticated intelligent person even if you dont have the right accent. Im not denying that we have some talents here is kuwait but they are all over whelmed by the actors and shallow idiots around them.
Let me start by talking about 52 degrees a business that claims supporting youth and young talents while infact they are just feeding on their blood. Have you ever passed by 52 degrees?
I believe most of us have done that and ended up regretting it, just walking around their show room 90% of the products are way over rated, stolen designs or even freaken ugly and not even worth looking at not to mention the catastrophic price tags on them.
So here is how I think the idea of Iwish came to life, years have passes and 52 Degrees suffered from the lack of things to offer and they came up with the iwish idea, a reality show to promote them and remind people of 52 Degrees but it actually back fired at them and ended up highlighting everything that is wrong in our community and how some businesses support the untalented shallow actors who claim they wanna build their career. I dont wanna make this post long so I’ll end it here and make room for your comment to express what i have might not mentioned.
What do you think of iwish ????
The best portion of a good man’s life – his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love. ~William Wordsworth
Giving is a thing that is not consequential to be in an aspect of money, the word “GIVE” can be elaborated in an unlimited forms of Love & Kindness.
Why don’t you start you morning by Giving a smile to your loved one’s for a start … Give back & be an aid to your community by respecting the laws for instance … Give the best efforts you can doing your job on a daily basis … Give people around you a better life to live by spreading happiness as a habit.
Good Morning Everyone & happy holidays 🙂
Another awesome video by Ali Mubarak criticizing the infamous iWish in an in direct way. I dont know how they even chose those participating in iWish by its not a surprise when you find out that 52 Degrees is behind it.
A new Tech blog in joins the blogosphere, its been a while since new blog joined in, so for all the geeks out there and Tech lovers click on HERE to visit them.
People actually started to ask, read & count !!! seeing all this happening lately i’m really impressed with the level of awareness that we have reached.
In the old days, if i stood in our local co-op reading the back batch of a product i could easily attract gazing eyes, some help to find the expiry date!! or even an old lady “al7mdela wel sheker” humming on my back.
I could easily spot this enhancement on awareness during Diet’s Care last week event (health & Fashion). the hall was FULL! no place to set & people are actually listening carefully to the presentations knowing and appreciating how much knowledge they can walk away with at the end of the lectures.
Diet Care is actually doing a great job paying back for the society with all those free awareness events & video’s on their youtube channel.

You all have been reading and hearing about the latest Samsung Galaxy S3 but this is not a review or how i got my Galaxy S3 kind of post but im just so annoyed on how people are acting here in K-Town & even GCC about the S3 and the mania associated with it.
The fact that the Galaxy S3 is a great device doesnt have to do with people racing to mobile retail store or telecommunication companies and wait in line for hours at least just to get their hands on it. I mean i was so shocked by the number of people waiting in line & running from place to place just to buy the S 3.
Most of us have an iPhone or an Android device or a Blackberry if not 2 devices at once so why all the madness people !!
I cant think of a logical reason for someone who went to a mobile retail shop in Sharq and bought the Galaxy S3 for 250 KD or even more all because he could not find it in another place.
You all know how much i adore gadgets but i would never run around looking for something that i can have anytime for a good price.
Have you ever stopped for a minute and watched people rushing in stores to buy something that its not that important ?
Have we reached a point in life were all that matters to us are just material things or dont we have nothing else to care about or look forward to other than buying and owning a device?
Have we reached a point in life were all the sense of achievement we could have is by buying something that just got released so we can be the first to brag about it ?
