Toyota Land Cruiser

The never ending story of the Land Cruise, every one in Kuwait wanna own a land cruise as if it was the only car available here in Kuwait or as if we don’t have roads and every one must go though sand dunes to reach their homes.

First thing first I must tell u the story of what happened with my buddy & I the past week. I went the other day with my buddy Mohammed to Al Sayer (Toyota Dealership) to check on Toyota Land Cruiser coz every one in Q8 recommending it for him and I’m the only one against the idea. I knew a week before that Alsayer had just received the new Land Cruise that is free of radiation that’s of course after they rejected his other car shipment that contained radiation from Japan. We all know that already so I won’t go into a lot of details about that. Of course when we arrived at the dealership we saw the GX Land Cruiser which was priced at 16,000 KD of course that is the naked version as we call it.

Of course the sales man welcomed us with a careless look and he was so lazy even to give a full answer to our questions plus we had to go to him coz he does not wanna get up his stupid chair to attend to customers of potential buyers and when my friend asked about if the VX (8 cylinder) is available the sales man just answered in a horrible tone, It will arrive in 2012 no stock available.

OMG what the Hell is Alsayer doing hiring those useless salesmen !!!!!!!!!!
I have always hated Toyota for their horrible customer service & expensive prices, I know that the Land Cruiser is getting more and more expensive that’s of course thank the dealership raising the pricing for no apparent reason.

 

Now let’s talk about the famous Toyota Land Cruiser in my personal opinion. Don’t get me wrong but I know it’s a powerful car and no one can argue about that. The problem that every one in K-Town wanna own one as if it’s the only SUV in the market where did the Nissan Patrol or the GMC Yukon disappear !!!!!!!!
People who r only looking for a Land argue that it’s resell price is great and the car is so durable. If every one owns a Land Cruiser in Kuwait ( it’s almost gonna be true) and after 2 years every Land Cruiser owner wanna sell their used car their resell value of course will be so low and even below what they expected coz there will be a lot of Used Land Cruisers for sale by that time available in the market.

What’s also bothering me is that some people r nagging about how expensive the Land Cuiser is and the same people end up getting a loan and buying one, no wonder they r screaming and begging to drop the loans in Kuwait !!!!!!!

What should people do if they wanna own a big SUV other than the land cruiser???

The answer is to look for alternatives and the Land Cruiser competitors.

I convinced my buddy to take a German brand car which WAYYYYYY better than the land cruiser and cheaper.
