BYRON – Proper Hamburgers
Well well well, finally we got the chance to try out this well known gourmet Burgers place “BYRON”
while trying any new burger place i stick to the classic burger, i think tasting the burger naked “Meat” flavor can make you judge a burger better “am a meat lover indeed”
this branch is newly opened in Soho, i liked how the building is whole glass, it feels like you are eating on the walkway & the sun can find it way to your table easily.
the seating area was nice & tidy
the menu is kinda basic & easy to browse; burgers, sides, salads & desserts
we had green olives while waiting for the Burgers. Nothing complimentary, those olives costs approximately 2 KD “london prices on fire, Baby” ;P
The Burgers was well presented, holding up all together & the bun is soft and Fresh
thats the BYRON sauce to the side. It should be eaten with the burger but we ate it with the fries instead “seems like mayonaise based sauce”
the Apricot salad which was nice, only thing is the apricot is a little undercooked
Bottom line : it was nice but i preferred GBK over BYRON. Maybe it’s my taste buds whats defected these days, but all i could say is: it was “OK” ,,, & in my dictionary OK means Maybe just MAYBE am going back for re-try

Caramel Bakery “of course” was our destination for creating this lovely Leopard cake 
They made a pretty god job which I think is much better than the photo we’ve shown them..
Birthday Cake from Marble Slab
One more ice cream cake by Marble Slab is added to our lovable ice cream cakes list. It’s called “Birthday Cake” and was super yummy It is a vanilla cake topped with a tasty rich vanilla ice cream.. garnished with web cream and a spread of rainbow jimmies.
iPad 3 What To Expect
If i could have 1 KD for each time ive been asked about the new iPad (iPad 3) i would be a millionaire, every body is waiting for it even when the iPad 2 got released still there was a buzz about the upcoming iPad. Any way it didnt get released yet im just summarizing some of the rumors what to expect from it from my own point of view & prediction. Apple just finished their iBook event which they are gonna revolutionize educational text book, i wont get into details of that event coz u already did read about it from other sources. Somethings are basic to expect a better more powerful processor & a retina display just like the iPhone 4 & 4S btw there was no change in the display specs between the iPad & iPad 2, so a retina display for the iPad 3 or a higher resolution one but i dont think so. The iPad 2 & 1 will have a a massive price reduction inorder to support the vision which Apple have in revolutionizing text books, inorder to make the iPad affordable for most kids they just gotta cut the price by half at least for iPad 1 & 2.
Some ipad 3 Siri feature is coz Apple is gonna push Siri more & more, im an Apple fan & i dont deny it but Siri is just a dump software in my personal opinion really never felt it was something new or out of this world, i remember when there voice commands were introduced to Nokia mobile early 2000 & people were so happy about it showing to their friends ( Hay look i can speak the name i wanna call & it will dial it for me ) he/she presses the call button & says ( Call Ahmed ) BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM the mobile doesnt do anything looooool i remember how much i used to laugh on this feature it was epic
When to expect an iPad 3 event, most rumors are speculating by the end of February, so if you were thinking of buying an iPad before Feb you better wait.
Mini Desserts from WOW
Sometimes you need a quick variety of desserts that are easy to serve and satisfies all the tastes, plus you won’t have to make an earlier order.. WOW has a nice selection of Mini Desserts that you could pick them up on your way home when you’re expecting last minute visitors

Pumpkin Cake from Caramel
This cake was our access to the Love Gate of “Caramel Bakery”.. Actually I hate pumpkins, but I adore this PUMPKIN cake! The softness of the sponge cake.. the rich creamy filling.. the sweet toffee and the crunchiness of the toppings is an outstanding combination.. I highly recommend this cake coz since we tried it few years ago till now.. it’s still no.1 to us
Caramel Delight Cake from Marble Slab
Since we felt in love with their Turtle Cake.. We decided to try another cake from Marble Slab.. Our Selection was “Caramel Delight”.. We even loved this one a lot.. specially the crunchy nuts of the ice cream which was a brilliant addition to the vanilla cake and the caramel topping.. But I’m still loyal to their Turtle cake and liked it a little bit more than this one
