When it comes to advertising we all know that the old traditional way of tv commercials and newspaper adds are almost extinct.
Companies whether big or small, new or old are trying to find new ways to be closer to their customers. Twitter, FaceBook, Google+ , Instagram and many other social sites. We can now find them on almost all the social network we can imagine. Don’t get me wrong this is a good thing to communicate more with you product/service provider but some companies are doing it all wrong.
They make an account lets say on twitter & they just keep sending you a mention tweet about their products and so you would have to read the tweet & if you reply to them they simply don’t answer coz they are busy spamming everyone else sending them the same tweet in their mentions.
cough cough****الجو حلو يبيله فطاير زعتر **** cough, come on give me a break cant you even find a better tweet 😛
Now let’s go to Instagram, one of the most annoying things you can find in your feed that a company you are following uploads a mass amount of pics all in the same time filling your feed with their pics which by the way 90% of them are useless coz they look into quantity not quality. I even commented on a pic from a certain company (restaurant/cafe) that they are spamming not posting & I actually found out that they don’t even reply to comments from followers, cough cough ****Baza cafe *** cough 😛
They should get some marketing consultant to advise them on how to make good useful posts, tweets or pics. If they even dont wanna hire some one a simple thing that they can do is caring about their customers & taking their feed back into consideration & replying to every comment or tweet that get sent to them. They are actually not marketing but annoying their customer by spamming their timeline.
Some companies do this social connecting in a right way & end up satisfying their customer & my post is only meant
to give those spammers a simple advice from a normal user’s prospective.
Anyone out there is getting spammed ?
The next big thing that have been swapping the the net & everyone is either talking about or became addicted to. Personally I believe that it’s not just a temporary hip, it’s gonna grow more and more strong & will compete with Google+, twitter and Facebook.
The idea behind the site is pretty simple hence the name states you just Pin what you find interesting & wanna share with friends or the whole wide world either a pic or just a video. Other users can like, comment or even RePin it to their profile (Share it with their friends).
The idea might seem familiar ehhhhhm google+ :p but they are doing it in a more stylish way than Google did. At a first glance you might not understand how it works but as soon as you start sharing you will get the hang of it. What’s really cool is the book mark they have which enables you to just share what you are browsing (pic, video, site) so easily without any kind of frustrating steps. In the begining pinterest was just a way to collect and save you site book marks in a stylish way but it evolved to become a sharing tool. To know more about how to use it wach the 2 videos below & follow us on pinterest if you have an account by clicking the Follow Me icon below or on the right side.
With all the hip surrounding the new Google Plus I had to get my hands on it and try to figure out what so special about it & whether will it be the Facebook killer as speculated on the net or not.
First of all a special Thanks goes to Chuknum for sending me an invite coz Google + is still in beta and only available through invitations.
Now let’s go into details, people have been clapping and cheering up for Google + against Facebook and I can see why, people have been fed up with Facebook games, group invites and useless stuff in Facebook. On the other hand the last Facebook layout is considered the worst in terms of being user friendly which I can relate to that. U can think of Google+ as a combination between Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpOn. U can easily share stuff on the web with a certain group of people or even find people to talk about certain subjects.
Browsing ur interest in what Google calls Sparks can make u find online stuff u r interested in which does not just waste ur time but actually it increases ur chances of discovering more related news to what u r interested in already.
I’m not totally against Facebook and I believe that Facebook won’t loose it’s place even if Google Plus became available for every one but Google will be a good competitor. The main problem lays within Google on whether it would be capable of attracting more users and giving them a better experience.
For more detailed comparison of both u can check the inforgraph below it’s the best and easiest way to compare both.
